Trip chat helps you work on an itinerary with the current trip context available. Day chat focuses on one day; trip overview chat can reason across the full trip.
Ask in the right scope
Use trip overview chat for questions that affect multiple days, such as pacing, missing regions, or using saved places from a collection to shape a route.
Use day chat for local edits, such as adding lunch options, filling an afternoon, pulling saved places into one day, or improving the order of stops.
What chat can use
Depending on where you open it, chat can include the trip summary, days, stops, selected places, saved collections, and recent messages. This gives the assistant more context than a single prompt.
Platix keeps product help separate from travel planning. If you ask how to use a product feature, chat should answer with a short help response and link to the right Help page instead of treating the question like an itinerary request.
Review suggested changes
AI suggestions may be incomplete or wrong. Before booking anything, check dates, opening hours, travel time, addresses, accessibility, prices, and reservation requirements.
When chat performs an action, Platix should show that work is happening and keep the UI from accepting duplicate clicks while the request is saving.
Saved places and collections
You can ask chat to use saved places from a collection. For example, ask it to turn a food collection into a day plan, or to build several days from a collection of towns and activities.
When there is more than one reasonable collection, Platix may ask you to choose the target collection before saving or using places.
Memory and personalization
Trip chat may use your explicit travel preferences, trip-scoped memory, and saved-place context when those are available. You can review and delete remembered facts from Preferences & memory in the account menu.
