Use a blank trip when you already know the outline, want to reconstruct a trip you took, or prefer to decide each day yourself.
Create the trip
- Open My trips.
- Select New trip. From the manual planning page, select Create a blank trip instead.
- Enter a trip name.
- Choose the start date.
- Choose Private or Public.
- Select Create trip.
You must sign in before creating a trip. If you begin from the manual planning page, Platix resumes the blank-trip action after email/password or Google sign-in.
Choose visibility carefully
A private trip is visible only to you and people you explicitly invite. A public trip can appear in public discovery and can be opened by anyone with its link.
Start with Private if you expect to add reservation references, costs, private notes, or other sensitive details. Platix does not return those private planning fields to anonymous public viewers, but you should still review the trip before publishing.
What appears first
A blank trip starts with its trip settings and an initial day. The first stop for a newly added day defaults to approximately 8:00 AM so you can begin scheduling without first correcting an afternoon time.
Use the trip settings to rename the trip or change its start date later. Changing the trip start date updates the dates of its days while preserving their order.
