When someone publishes a fork of your public trip, a credit back to you travels with it — and doubles as a route to your paid trips. Every buyer's copy of a premium trip names the trip it came from and links to your page.
A sale gives you earnings, not access to a buyer's trip. A paid service provides only the information and temporary permissions required by that order.
You keep 85%* of qualifying premium-trip sales and completed paid reviews. Once their combined revenue, after refunds and excluding taxes, passes $500 in a calendar month, your share rises to 90%* for that entire month, including the qualifying earnings before you crossed it. There are no monthly creator fees and no listing fees.
Every Friday, in one Stripe transfer covering your payable trip sales and paid reviews, once that combined balance is at least $20. Smaller balances roll forward. A trip sale becomes payable after the buyer's 14-day refund window; a review, 7 days after it's completed. You can start selling before you set up payouts; your earnings wait until you do. Platix uses Stripe to process payments and send your payouts, and you set payouts up in Creator Studio. Payout setup is available in the United States.
Yes. For each premium trip sale you get the buyer's name and email, unless they choose not to share them. They're your customers: find them in Creator Studio > Buyers and download them as a CSV. Contact them about their trip, its updates and your travel content, with an unsubscribe link in every marketing email. Travelers whose trips you review stay anonymous.
A free preview: the title, overview, trip length, the whole of day one, the places you stay day by day, and up to three highlights from the later days. The rest unlocks after purchase.
Yes. Your private creator master stays editable. Draft changes never alter buyer trips or the release currently on sale. When the changes are ready, publish a new immutable release for future buyers; existing buyers keep the independent trip delivered from the release they purchased.
No. Trips forked from another person's trip can never be sold, however much you change them. Forking is for your own personal customization. To sell a route inspired by someone else's, build it as an original trip.
We look for a credible public body of work and useful knowledge of the places, travel styles, or constraints you want to cover. A complete Platix profile and public trip help demonstrate that expertise. Follower count matters less than whether travelers can rely on your decisions.
It is a separate paid service for eligible creators. You review one fixed, privacy-minimized revision of a traveler's itinerary and return a structured expert second opinion. You do not receive ordinary access to the traveler's live trip, and the service does not include booking, certification, or unlimited revisions.
