    Link your public profile and tell us where you travel. We read every application by hand, and you can return to your account to see its status.

  2. Build the trip properly

    Write the itinerary you would give a close friend — the specific restaurant, the hour to arrive, the detour that is worth it and the one that is not.

  3. Set your price

    Use $19 to $79 as a starting range, then price for the depth and specificity of the work. Day one stays public as the sample; everything after it unlocks on purchase.

    Earnings appear in your dashboard as trips sell. Post updates when something changes on the ground, and follow the payout instructions provided during onboarding.

Nobody can resell your trip

A trip forked from yours can never be listed for sale. That is enforced in the data model, not left to a rule in the terms.

Buyers get what they paid for

A sold itinerary locks permanently, so no one can quietly rewrite what a buyer purchased. Updates ride alongside it instead.

Attribution follows your work

When someone publishes a fork of your public trip, a credit back to you travels with it — and doubles as a route to your paid trips.

You see how many people bought and what you earned. You never see who they are — and neither does anyone else.

Questions

How much do I keep from each sale?

You keep 85% of every sale. Once your trip-sale earnings pass $500 in a calendar month, your share rises to 90% for that entire month, including the sales before you crossed it. There are no monthly fees and no listing fees.

When do I get paid?

Eligible balances are paid on Platix's published payout schedule, with a $20 minimum. Anything below the minimum rolls forward. Approved creators receive payout instructions during onboarding.

What do buyers see before they pay?

A free preview: the title, overview, trip length, the whole of day one, the places you stay day by day, and up to three highlights from the later days. The rest unlocks after purchase.

Can I edit a trip after it sells?

The itinerary locks permanently once a trip has sold, so buyers keep exactly what they paid for. You can still post updates that every buyer sees, change the price for new buyers, stop selling, or publish a revised version as a new trip.

Can I sell a trip I forked from someone else?

No. Trips forked from another person's trip can never be sold, however much you change them. Forking is for your own personal customization. To sell a route inspired by someone else's, build it as an original trip.

Who can become a creator?

While Platix is small we approve every creator by hand. We look for a public profile, at least one published public trip, and real first-hand knowledge of the places you want to sell. Follower count matters less than having actually travelled the route.
