Your share
You keep 85% of every sale. Platix keeps 15%.
Once your trip-sale earnings pass $500 in a calendar month, your share rises to 90% — and it applies to that entire month, including the sales before you crossed the line.
There are no monthly fees and no listing fees.
Where to see it
The Earnings tab in your account shows:
- Lifetime earnings from trip sales
- This month's earnings
- Your next payout
- Per-trip breakdown — price, number of sales, and what each trip earned
- Public fork counts, so you can see which free trips draw people in
- Payout history
You see buyer counts, never buyer identities. That is deliberate and permanent: buyers get privacy, you get the numbers.
Payout rollout
The current Terms set a weekly payout schedule with a $20 minimum. A balance below $20 rolls forward.
Creator sales are being introduced in a controlled rollout. Before a trip accepts real purchases, Platix must confirm the creator's payout method and any identity or tax information required for that account. Do not rely on the dashboard alone as confirmation that payout onboarding is complete.
Refunds and chargebacks are deducted from current or future earnings.
Taxes
You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn. Provide accurate tax and identity information where we or our payment providers must collect it — payouts can be held until that is complete.
Platix intends to act as the merchant of record for premium-trip sales. Applicable sales tax, VAT, or GST must be calculated at checkout once Stripe Tax and the commercial rollout are fully enabled.
If a trip is refunded
The refund is deducted from your earnings, and the buyer loses access. A private copy they already forked stays with them, private and unsellable.
Changes to these terms
We may change revenue shares or payout terms, but you get at least 30 days' notice of anything that reduces your share or delays payouts, and changes never apply retroactively to sales already made. The full terms are in the Terms of Service.
