Your private creator master remains editable after a sale. Publishing creates a new immutable release for future buyers while every existing buyer keeps their own delivered trip.
Why publication is versioned
Buyers paid for a specific plan. A creator therefore cannot silently replace an existing buyer's trip. Draft changes stay private until publication, and publishing advances the listing to a new release without rewriting earlier releases or buyer copies.
Pausing or unlisting a product does not remove a buyer's delivered trip.
Publish a change
Edit the creator master normally. In Creator Studio, review the unpublished changes and publish when the complete version is ready. If people already own the product, include a release note. A release note is:
- Attached to the published release
- Visible to the eligible buyer cohort
- Additive — it never rewrites an existing buyer's private trip
For an urgent rights, safety, or material accuracy problem, pause the listing first, correct the master, and publish the corrected release before resuming sales.
What is worth posting
> Release 2 — Hiša Franko (Day 4) now needs booking 4–6 months ahead, up from 6 weeks. The route and other recommendations are unchanged.
Good updates:
- A place closes, moves, or changes its booking lead time
- A road, pass, or ferry closes for the season
- A price changes enough to affect planning
- A seasonal confirmation — "checked in June, everything current"
That last one matters more than creators expect. A trip with a recent update reads as maintained; one with none reads as abandoned.
When to create a separate variant
Use another release when the product remains the same promise for the same audience. Create a separate variant when the destination structure, season, duration, transport mode, or target traveler makes it meaningfully different.
Each variant has its own listing, offer, publication history, reviews, and future buyers.
