PlatixBlogs

Terms of Service

Effective date: July 24, 2026

Operator: NUDOOO LLC, a California limited liability company

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Platix, including the Platix website, trip-planning workspace, maps, public content, blogs, comments, collaboration tools, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). In these Terms, "Platix," "we," "us," and "our" mean the operator identified above.

Please read these Terms carefully. When you create an account, Platix asks you to affirmatively agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Platix Privacy Policy. We record the versions you accepted, the time, and the acceptance source. By accessing or using the Service after that acceptance, you remain bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the Service.

1. Important travel-only scope

Platix is a travel inspiration, organization, and planning tool. It helps users collect places, draft itineraries, organize trip information, collaborate, and explore travel ideas.

Platix is not designed or authorized to provide:

  • Medical, health, diagnosis, treatment, medication, or emergency advice
  • Financial, investment, tax, accounting, credit, or insurance advice
  • Legal, immigration, visa, regulatory, or professional advice
  • Emergency response, personal-security monitoring, rescue, dispatch, or crisis services
  • Air traffic control, navigation for safety-critical operations, or other high-risk services

Do not use the Service as a substitute for a qualified professional, government authority, emergency service, travel provider, or official source.

If you are experiencing an emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service immediately. Do not rely on Platix.

We may refuse, limit, or redirect requests that fall outside travel and trip planning or that create safety, legal, or professional-advice risks.

2. AI-generated information requires verification

Parts of the Service use artificial intelligence ("AI") to help create, edit, review, or explain travel plans and content. AI output may be incomplete, incorrect, outdated, misleading, or inconsistent. It may identify the wrong place, confuse similarly named locations, make an unrealistic schedule, or state a fact with unwarranted confidence.

You are responsible for independently verifying information before acting on it, including:

  • Entry, passport, visa, immigration, customs, and vaccination requirements
  • Government advisories, local laws, permits, and restrictions
  • Weather, natural hazards, political conditions, and personal-safety information
  • Transportation schedules, routes, connections, road conditions, and operating status
  • Opening hours, closures, reservations, availability, prices, fees, and cancellation terms
  • Hotel, restaurant, activity, and accessibility information
  • Dietary, allergen, mobility, health, medication, and other personal requirements
  • Insurance coverage and the terms of any booking or purchase

Consult official government sources, travel providers, venue operators, and qualified professionals as appropriate. AI output is a draft or suggestion, not a guarantee or professional determination.

3. Platix is not a travel provider

Unless we expressly state otherwise for a specific feature, Platix is not a travel agency, tour operator, carrier, hotel, restaurant, venue, booking agent, insurer, payment provider, employer, fiduciary, or government authority.

The Service may display information, maps, links, images, ratings, schedules, or other content from third parties. Platix does not control those third parties and is not responsible for:

  • Their products, services, content, conduct, availability, or security
  • Changes, delays, cancellations, closures, overbooking, injuries, losses, or disputes
  • The accuracy of descriptions, ratings, prices, schedules, or availability
  • Contracts, payments, refunds, chargebacks, or claims between you and a third party

Any transaction with a third party is between you and that third party and is governed by its terms and policies.

4. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to create a Platix account. The Service is not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 may not use or create an account for the Service.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate account information
  • Keep your credentials confidential
  • Use reasonable measures to secure your account and email
  • Notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized access
  • Accept responsibility for activity performed through your account, except where applicable law provides otherwise

You may not transfer, sell, lease, or share an account in a way that defeats account security or access controls.

5. Acceptable use

You may use the Service only for lawful travel inspiration, planning, organization, collaboration, and related personal or authorized business purposes.

You may not use the Service to:

  • Request or provide medical, financial, legal, emergency, or other regulated professional advice
  • Plan, promote, facilitate, or conceal illegal, dangerous, exploitative, or harmful conduct
  • Harass, threaten, stalk, defame, discriminate against, or impersonate another person
  • Publish another person's precise location, itinerary, contact information, or private information without authorization
  • Upload access credentials, payment-card data, passport numbers, government identifiers, medical records, or other unnecessary sensitive data. You may store reservation reference numbers and costs in the designated private booking fields, but you must review and remove them before making a trip public.
  • Infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or contractual rights
  • Upload malware, interfere with the Service, probe security, bypass controls, or gain unauthorized access
  • Scrape, harvest, bulk-download, or systematically copy the Service or third-party map and place content
  • Use automated means to create abusive traffic, spam, fake engagement, or excessive AI cost
  • Misrepresent AI output as verified professional or official advice
  • Train or benchmark a competing service using Platix content or output where prohibited by law or without our written permission
  • Remove attribution, ownership notices, safety notices, or technical protections
  • Circumvent visibility, invitation, collaboration, rate, moderation, or publication controls

We may investigate and take reasonable action against suspected misuse.

6. Your content

"User Content" means content you submit, create, upload, save, or publish through the Service, including prompts, chats, trips, itineraries, notes, collections, saved places, photos, captions, comments, profile information, feedback, and collaboration content.

You retain ownership of User Content you own. You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have all rights and permissions needed for your User Content
  • Your User Content and our permitted use of it do not violate law or another person's rights
  • You have permission before including another person's identity, image, travel plans, location, or personal information
  • You will not upload confidential or sensitive information that is unnecessary for travel planning

You grant Platix a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, format, adapt for technical display, transmit, and otherwise process User Content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the Service, enforce these Terms, comply with law, and honor your sharing and publication choices.

This operational license ends when the User Content is deleted from active systems, except where continued processing is reasonably necessary for backups, security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, de-identification, or content you shared with others, as described in the Privacy Policy.

We do not obtain ownership of your User Content through these Terms.

7. Visibility and sharing

Platix may offer different visibility settings. You are responsible for selecting the correct setting and reviewing it before sharing sensitive travel information.

Private

Private content is intended to be available only to you and people you explicitly authorize, subject to technical operations, legal requirements, and the Privacy Policy.

Unlisted or link-accessible content may be viewable by anyone who obtains the link. It is not equivalent to private content. Recipients may forward or copy the link.

Public

Public content may be accessible to anyone, indexed by search engines if separately approved for indexing, linked from other sites, copied, discussed, or retained by others. Changing or deleting public content does not guarantee removal of copies, search caches, screenshots, or third-party references.

By making User Content public, you direct us to display, distribute, format, index where approved, create previews of, and promote that content within the Service. Platix will not create and separately publish an editorial blog article derived from your public trip or collection unless you have opted in, otherwise given permission, or the program and license have been clearly disclosed to you.

Do not make content public if it contains home addresses, live location, private reservation details, children's personal information, access codes, or information you do not have permission to disclose.

8. Collaboration and invitations

Trip and collection owners may invite others as viewers or editors. Owners are responsible for inviting the correct people and granting appropriate permissions. Editors may change shared content within the permissions provided.

You agree not to:

  • Invite someone without a legitimate reason
  • Use invitations for spam or harassment
  • Share an invitation token with an unauthorized person
  • Modify or disclose collaborative content beyond your authorization

Owners should review pending invitations and collaborator access regularly. Removing access does not erase copies previously made by an authorized recipient.

9. Forks, copies, and attribution

The Service may let users fork or copy eligible public trips or collections. A fork creates a separate version that may be edited according to the available permissions.

When you make User Content eligible for forking, you grant Platix a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable license to permit other Service users to copy, adapt, display, and use that content within the Service for personal and noncommercial travel-planning purposes, with source attribution where the Service provides it. This license applies only to content you own or have the right to license and does not include third-party maps, place data, images, or other material whose terms prohibit that use.

A fork does not transfer intellectual-property ownership in the source content. You may use forked content only as permitted by the Service, these Terms, the source creator's rights, and applicable law. You may not remove required source attribution or represent another person's original work as entirely your own. A fork already created by another user is a separate copy and may remain after you later change the source's visibility or delete it, subject to these Terms, applicable law, and any removal rights Platix must honor.

Any future paid creator, premium-trip, affiliate, commission, purchase, payout, or resale feature will require separate commercial terms before launch. Current product-planning documents describing those features are not an offer and do not create payment, ownership, refund, payout, or revenue-sharing rights.

10. Comments and community features

Public comments, reactions, saves, bookmarks, and similar features may be visible to others. You are responsible for what you post.

We may, but are not required to, review, moderate, hide, remove, preserve, or restrict content or accounts where we reasonably believe it:

  • Violates these Terms or law
  • Infringes another person's rights
  • Contains personal or confidential information
  • Creates safety or security risk
  • Is spam, deceptive, abusive, or irrelevant
  • Is necessary to preserve evidence or respond to a legal request

Moderation is not a guarantee that all harmful or inaccurate content will be detected. Community content is not verified travel or professional advice.

11. Photos, media, and third-party place content

You may upload photos and other supported media only when you have the right to do so. You grant the operational license in Section 6 for uploaded media.

Place details, maps, imagery, ratings, reviews, and business information may come from Google or other third-party providers. They remain subject to the provider's rights, attribution requirements, terms, and policies. You may not extract or reuse third-party content except as permitted by the applicable provider and law.

The Service includes Google Maps features and content. Your use of those features and content is subject to the current Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and Google Privacy Policy.

12. Intellectual property

The Service, excluding User Content and third-party content, is owned by Platix or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property and other laws. Subject to these Terms, Platix grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.

Platix names, logos, designs, software, and documentation may not be used except as permitted by law or with our written permission.

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright or other rights, send a notice to support@platix.io containing:

  • Your name and contact information
  • Identification of the protected work or right
  • Identification and URL of the material at issue
  • A statement explaining why you believe the use is unauthorized
  • A statement that the information is accurate and that you are authorized to act
  • Your physical or electronic signature

This process is not a representation that Platix has registered a statutory copyright agent.

14. Feedback

If you send ideas, suggestions, or feedback, you grant Platix a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use and incorporate the feedback without restriction or compensation. This does not give Platix ownership of your trips, photos, or other User Content.

15. Third-party services

The Service relies on or may link to third-party services, including authentication, database, AI, maps, media storage, hosting, email, and travel-information providers. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies and may change, suspend, or discontinue their services.

Platix is not responsible for a third party's acts, omissions, content, security, or availability. Links do not imply endorsement.

16. Privacy

The Platix Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information. Acknowledging that policy confirms that it was presented to you; it is not consent to optional processing where applicable law requires a separate consent.

Do not submit medical records, payment-card numbers, passport numbers, government identifiers, or other highly sensitive information to AI prompts, public content, comments, or unnecessary trip notes.

17. Service changes and availability

We may add, change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features. The Service may experience errors, delays, maintenance, data loss, provider outages, or security incidents.

You are responsible for maintaining independent copies of information needed during travel. Do not rely on Platix as your only copy of reservations, tickets, identification, emergency contacts, directions, or critical travel documents.

18. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time and may use available account-deletion controls.

We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or limit features when reasonably necessary to:

  • Enforce these Terms
  • Protect users, third parties, Platix, or the Service
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, security incidents, or legal exposure
  • Comply with law or a valid legal request
  • Address nonpayment under future paid-feature terms

Where practical and lawful, we will provide notice. Some obligations survive termination, including ownership, licenses needed for retained content, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and dispute provisions.

19. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." PLATIX DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, AND QUIET ENJOYMENT.

PLATIX DOES NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • ANY ITINERARY, RECOMMENDATION, MAP, ROUTE, PLACE, SCHEDULE, PRICE, AVAILABILITY, SAFETY INFORMATION, OR AI OUTPUT IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, CURRENT, OR SUITABLE
  • THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE
  • A TRIP WILL BE SAFE, LAWFUL, AVAILABLE, ENJOYABLE, OR FREE FROM LOSS
  • USER OR THIRD-PARTY CONTENT IS ACCURATE OR NON-INFRINGING

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions. In those jurisdictions, exclusions apply only to the extent permitted by law.

20. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLATIX AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, TRAVEL OPPORTUNITY, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLATIX'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

  • THE AMOUNT YOU PAID DIRECTLY TO PLATIX FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR
  • USD $100

These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory and even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. They do not limit liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including rights that may apply to consumers in their jurisdiction.

21. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Platix and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and contractors from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, and reasonable legal fees arising from:

  • Your unlawful or unauthorized use of the Service
  • Your User Content
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of another person's rights

This section does not require indemnification for Platix's own unlawful conduct and may not apply to consumers where prohibited by law.

22. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.

Subject to mandatory law, state and federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or the Service, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

23. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Service, law, or risk. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required. When we designate a change as requiring renewed acceptance, you must affirmatively accept the updated Terms before continuing to use account features. Material changes will apply prospectively unless law permits otherwise.

Continued use after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. If you do not agree to an update, stop using the Service and delete your account.

24. General terms

These Terms and incorporated policies are the entire agreement concerning the Service unless separate written terms apply. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will remain effective. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them as part of a merger, financing, reorganization, or transfer of the Service, subject to applicable law.

Headings are for convenience only. The word "including" means "including without limitation."
