Review a trip

Run the plan health check and interpret timing, meal, accommodation, and feasibility findings.

Last verified 2026-07-30

The plan health check combines deterministic itinerary rules with contextual feedback to help you find problems before travel.

Run the review

Open a trip you can edit and select the review action. Platix evaluates the current saved itinerary, so save day and stop changes before running it.

Rule-based checks

The review can identify issues such as:

  • A day with no accommodation when an overnight stay is expected.
  • Missing meal coverage.
  • Activities whose start time and duration overlap.
  • Scheduled activity time that cannot fit within the day.
  • Timing or pacing that appears unrealistic.

Not every trip requires three restaurant stops or a hotel every night. A travel day, overnight flight, staying with friends, or flexible meal plan can make a warning acceptable.

Contextual feedback

Platix can also assess the trip as a whole and point out route, pacing, or planning concerns that are not captured by one numeric rule. Treat this as planning feedback, not a guarantee that a place is open, a route is available, or an entry requirement is satisfied.

Work through findings

Open the relevant day or stop, make the change, and run the review again. You can also use trip chat to ask about the current trip, day, stop, or visible map area.

Verify critical facts separately

Opening hours, prices, availability, transit schedules, weather, visa rules, and entry requirements can change. Confirm critical details with the provider or an authoritative source before travel.
