Start with a travel idea when you want Platix to help shape the route and build an editable itinerary. Use itinerary import when you already have source text, or collection planning when you have saved places.
Start from the landing page
Select Plan with AI in the AI planning card to return to the trip prompt. This focuses the input; it does not submit a message or create a trip by itself. See how it works opens the product explanation instead.
Describe where you want to go, how long you have, and anything important to preserve. For example: "Seven days in Kyoto and Osaka, starting in Kyoto, with two adults, vegetarian food, and a relaxed pace."
Include dates if known, arrival and departure cities, must-do places, transport preferences, and constraints. Do not include booking passwords, payment-card details, identity documents, or sensitive personal records. Select Plan my trip to submit.
Answer planning questions
Platix may ask for missing or conflicting details before building. Review the trip brief in the planning workspace, answer the current question in chat, or choose an offered answer. Destination and duration need to be clear enough to form a route; you do not need to know every stop in advance.
Some accounts also have Review trip structure controls for inspecting the extracted route, nights, and constraints. Use the controls only when shown; their absence does not mean the ordinary planning flow is broken.
Review the proposed direction before accepting a build or recommendation. Avoid sending the same answer repeatedly while work is in progress.
Access and saving
Guest AI planning may be available within the limits shown by Platix. Otherwise, sign in when prompted. A guest draft is not a substitute for an account-backed saved trip: use the offered save or account flow before relying on access from another browser or device.
Signed-in users can return to saved trip setups from the landing page. Reopen the existing setup when possible instead of starting the same request again.
Inspect the resulting draft
The result is an editable itinerary, not a set of confirmed bookings. Check the map, dates, day order, hotels, meals, travel time, and place details. Open Planning notes when the creation summary says details need review. Flexible meals or unresolved lodging still need your decisions.
Use trip review to check the draft, then move stops, reorder days, add missing details, or ask trip chat to revise part of it. Re-check critical information with the venue or provider before traveling.
