What should be checked first?
The main question is not whether each city deserves a visit. It is whether the number of transfers and packed arrival days fits a child, July conditions, and the family's stated pace. Day 3 combines a move to Madrid with a major museum and evening tour. Day 6 makes Granada a return excursion immediately after the wedding. Day 7 reaches Porto, and Day 8 continues to Lisbon. The plan allows little recovery when a connection, meal, or long event takes more time than expected.
What should a useful review recommend?
- Keep the fixed Seville wedding and the arrival/departure cities visible as constraints.
- Compare a shorter route that removes one or more intermediate cities, rather than simply telling the family to move faster.
- Protect a lighter day around the wedding and avoid treating every train-arrival afternoon as a sightseeing block.
The reviewer should explain the tradeoff: fewer bases mean less geographic coverage but more usable time together. It should distinguish fixed from flexible plans and ask for a specific timetable before asserting that a connection is impossible. It should not silently move the wedding or claim to know 2027 rail schedules.
