Use travel and transport details for movement between places: flights, trains, ferries, cruises, rental cars, rideshares, shuttles, and walking transfer notes.
Add transport to the right day
- Open the day where the movement starts.
- Add or edit the relevant stop.
- Choose the transport or travel category when available.
- Add departure and arrival details.
- Add provider, reference, cost, and private notes only when useful.
- Save the stop.
If the transport spans a late night or crosses time zones, use notes to make the real sequence clear.
Keep transport distinct from activities
A transport stop can still have a place, such as an airport, train station, ferry terminal, or car rental office. Selecting the real Google place helps the map and route stay useful.
For tickets and reservations, keep private supplier details in booking fields. Public viewers and client-facing surfaces should only receive details that are intentionally safe to show.
Update or remove transport
Edit a transport stop when the time, provider, booking status, or route changes. Delete it only when the movement should no longer appear in the itinerary.
When the stop order changes, confirm that the route and surrounding activities still make sense.
