Final delivery should happen only after the agency has reviewed the itinerary and selected the correct client-facing content.
Platix can create a final itinerary from a published proposal. That final itinerary is agency-owned, read-only for travelers, and separate from the private working trip. The live traveler link, PDF, and calendar should all come from the same reviewed client-safe projection.
Before generating
Confirm the proposal version, dates, stops, transport, booking handoff records, quote options, disclaimer, and agency contact details.
The final itinerary is generated from an immutable proposal projection. If the trip has changed since that proposal was published, create a new proposal version first.
Create the final itinerary
- Open the agency workspace.
- Open Proposals.
- Find the published proposal version the client approved or that the agency is ready to deliver.
- Choose Finalize itinerary.
- Review the final itinerary state before creating any traveler link or export.
Do not finalize from an outdated proposal just because the private trip is current. The final itinerary inherits what the selected published proposal exposed to the client.
Live traveler link
A live traveler link opens a secure Platix itinerary page on phone or laptop. It is meant for travel use after the proposal is final, not for internal editing or public discovery.
The traveler page is read-only. Travelers can open days, stops, map content, selected media, and agency-facing instructions that were included in the final projection. They cannot edit the agency trip, fork it, invite collaborators, use trip chat, see internal notes, or access supplier net costs and private workspace data.
Use Create traveler link after the final itinerary is published. If an active link already exists, Replace traveler link issues a new token and invalidates the previous active access. Use Revoke traveler link when a link is sent to the wrong person, the trip is no longer active, or access should end.
Copy and store the full secure link carefully. Token links are capability links: anyone with the active link can open the client-safe itinerary until it expires or is revoked.
PDF delivery
The PDF contains selected itinerary content, proposal-safe booking or quote details, agency branding, and the chosen disclaimer. It is useful for offline reference, printing, and formal delivery.
Do not use the PDF as proof that supplier reservations, prices, or availability are still current. Confirm critical travel details in the booking system of record.
Calendar delivery
Calendar export creates traveler schedule events from selected proposal content. It is useful for convenience, not as the legal or operational record.
If times or dates change, regenerate from a reviewed proposal version rather than editing a stale calendar manually.
When details change
The final itinerary does not silently rewrite itself from later trip edits. For material itinerary changes, update the private working trip, review the change, publish a new proposal version if needed, then create a new final itinerary or replacement traveler access from the reviewed projection.
Use operational update notes only for safe, time-sensitive travel information that should not change the underlying finalized projection.
