Client feedback belongs on proposal versions, not inside the private agency trip workspace.
Issue a client link
After creating and reviewing a proposal version, issue a revocable client link for a limited time window.
Copy and store the link carefully. The full secure link may be shown only once. Revoke access when a link is sent to the wrong person or no longer needs to work.
What clients can do
Clients can open the proposal, review selected itinerary content, use the map where available, submit feedback, and record a decision when the feature is enabled.
Feedback can be attached to the whole proposal, a specific day, or a specific stop. The proposal page includes inline comment fields on days and stops so clients can write from the part of the itinerary they are reviewing. The shared feedback panel remains available for overall proposal questions.
They cannot edit the agency trip, see internal notes, access supplier or margin fields, invite collaborators, or use the agency workspace.
Reply and resolve feedback
Use the feedback inbox in proposal version history to review client responses. Feedback is grouped into general proposal feedback, day feedback, stop feedback, and the recorded decision.
Each item has a status:
Openmeans the client item still needs agency attention.Repliedmeans an agency member has responded but has not resolved the item.Resolvedmeans the agency has closed the item.
Use proposal responses to reply, request clarification, reopen an item, or mark feedback resolved.
If the itinerary changes materially, update the private trip and publish a revised proposal version. Do not silently rely on an old proposal link to communicate new client-facing terms.
Use Create revision from feedback when a comment should become itinerary work. That action keeps the old proposal immutable, returns you to the source trip/proposal context, and reminds you to create a new proposal version after updating the private trip.
When a revised proposal has a previous version, the client proposal page can show a concise What changed section with client-safe changes such as updated days, changed stops, booking handoff changes, quote changes, or disclaimer updates.
After approval
When the proposal version is approved or otherwise ready for final delivery, create the final itinerary from that published proposal. The live traveler itinerary link should come from the final itinerary, not from the mutable private trip.
Approval belongs to the exact proposal version the client saw. If the private trip changes after that proposal was created, Platix shows a warning before finalization so you can confirm that this specific proposal version is still the intended delivery version.
If client feedback produces changes after a final itinerary link has already been issued, decide whether the change is minor travel support information or a material itinerary revision. Material revisions should go back through the private trip, proposal, and final-itinerary flow.
Email preferences
Proposal feedback and decision emails can be controlled from the proposal workspace when available. Keep email notifications as prompts to review the workspace, not as the permanent record.
