Add selected places when you want more control than importing a whole collection. This is best for using only the places that fit a specific day or trip.
Select places
- Open Explore places or a collection page.
- Choose the collection that contains the places.
- Enter selection mode when the selection controls are available.
- Select the places you want to use.
- Choose Add to trip.
The dialog lets you choose a trip and destination day. If you opened it from an existing editable trip, that trip can already be selected for you.
Pick the destination
Choose an editable trip, then choose the day where the selected places should go. Platix previews which places can be added and which ones will be skipped.
Places may be skipped when they are already in that day, no longer available, or not valid for the selected addition. Review the preview before confirming.
Keep source and destination separate
Adding places to a trip does not remove them from the collection. The collection remains a bucket list or research board, while the trip receives separate editable stops.
After adding them, edit the trip stops to add times, notes, reservations, transport, photos, and day-specific context.
Access rules
You can add places from collections you can open: owned, public, unlisted-by-link, or shared collections. You can add places only to trips where you have edit access.
If either side is not accessible, Platix will not show the action or will stop the request before changing the trip.
