Collections keep places for a city, theme, future trip, or any other idea you want to develop.
Create an empty collection
- Open Explore places.
- Select the add icon beside the collection settings icon.
- Enter a name and an optional description.
- Choose Private, Unlisted, or Public.
- Select Create collection.
You do not need to open or save a place first. When you already have collections, Keep exploring opens Explore with Bucket List selected so you can continue discovering places.
Edit collection details
Open the collection settings to change its name, description, or visibility. A useful description explains what connects the saved places and who the collection is for. Paragraphs and line breaks are preserved when the description is displayed publicly.
The settings panel also contains edit history, sharing, visibility, and deletion. These actions are grouped in one place so the main collection toolbar can stay focused on browsing and adding places.
Choose visibility
A private collection is available only to you and invited collaborators. An unlisted collection can be opened by people with the link, but it is not meant for public discovery or search. A public collection can appear in discovery, search results, creator profiles, and shared links.
Review the description and media before publishing. Do not place reservation references, private contact information, or other sensitive details in public-facing collection text.
