Your account profile controls how Platix addresses you and, separately, whether other people can discover your public work.
Open the avatar button in the top-right corner to find your library, personal settings, and available workspaces. Your name, email, and Sign out are inside this menu. On mobile, use Account menu to return from a section; on desktop, use the sidebar to switch sections.
Set a display name
Choose Account settings from the account menu and add a display name. Blog comments and other social surfaces use this name instead of exposing your complete email address.
Existing accounts without a display name continue to work. Until one is added, Platix uses a privacy-conscious fallback derived from available account information rather than displaying the full email domain.
Configure a creator profile
Choose Creator Studio from the account menu to open its dedicated workspace. Account Home shows your creator status and links to the workspace; Creator Studio is where you manage your public handle, creator name, description, and optional profile photo. Choose Publish profile before applying to the creator program, then use Save changes to keep it current. Public profiles always show their follower count. The public handle creates a stable creator URL without exposing the Supabase user ID, and the photo, cover and logo on public pages are addressed by that handle too.
A complete public profile is part of being an active Platix creator. An approved creator's identity and work history must remain available while that creator operates on Platix, and a profile also stays public while its creator application is being reviewed. You can pause an individual premium-trip listing or turn off paid-review availability without hiding your identity.
If you are not a creator and have no application under review, for example you never applied, your application was not approved, or you left the program, Creator Studio > Public profile offers Make profile private. It takes your creator page offline; your public trips and collections stay public until you change them, and Publish profile brings the page back.
To take your creator profile offline, use Leave creator program in Creator Studio > Settings. This is a deliberate offboarding action, not a visibility preference. It withdraws your creator status, makes the creator profile private, and prevents new premium-trip publishing, sales, and paid-review offers. Existing buyers keep their purchased trips. Platix also preserves required purchase, license, attribution, earnings, payout, and audit records.
Leaving does not make an already-public trip or collection private; change those items separately if you no longer want them public. A withdrawn creator can publish a complete profile and submit a new application later. Prior approval is not restored automatically.
People can open your creator profile from a public trip or collection and see only content you have made public. Private trips, private collections, collaboration records, email, and account identifiers are not included.
Review before saving
Use a display name and profile image you are comfortable showing publicly. Do not include an email address, phone number, home address, or reservation details in the public bio.
Changing a trip or collection to private removes it from the public profile, although search engines or recipients may retain earlier copies.
