Account deletion is permanent. Review the consequences before confirming it from the account page.
What Platix removes
Deletion removes the authentication user and data owned by that user, including:
- Owned trips and collections
- Account-scoped chat and preferences
- Invitations, access records, and social relationships tied to the account
- Blog comments authored by the account
- User-uploaded photos and videos in R2 when they are owned by that user
- Public creator profile and account metadata
Shared records are deleted or detached according to ownership. Platix does not delete another user's trip, collection, comment, or uploaded media merely because you collaborated with it.
What to review first
Export or preserve anything you need. Resolve active collaboration and pending invitations. Transferable ownership is not implied; deleting an owner may remove the content they own even when other people could edit it.
Google sign-in after deletion
Deleting Platix data does not delete or revoke your Google account. Google may remember that you previously approved the application. Signing in with Google again can create a new Platix account without repeating every Google consent screen.
To revoke provider access separately, remove Platix from the connected-app settings in your Google account.
Confirm deletion
The account page requires an explicit confirmation before sending the deletion request. If deletion fails, the account remains available and Platix reports the failure rather than presenting a partial success.
