Place stats help you understand whether other Platix travelers have saved or used the same place.
What counts mean
Saved-place counts show how many people saved a place to a collection, including Bucket List.
Trip-stop counts show how many people have used that place as a stop in a trip.
Platix connects these counts with a stable provider place identifier when one is available, such as a Google Place ID. This is why choosing the real place suggestion matters more than typing only a title.
Why some counts are coarse
For low counts, Platix uses coarse labels such as 3+ instead of exact numbers. This helps prevent a count from accidentally revealing too much about a small private set of people or trips.
Once the count is high enough, Platix can show the exact number because a single private item no longer meaningfully identifies a person or trip.
What counts do not reveal
Counts do not link back to private trips, private collections, account emails, collaborators, booking details, notes, or comments.
Public trips and collections may still show their own public content normally. The popularity count itself is only an aggregate signal.
Why counts may differ from Google
Platix counts activity inside Platix. Google ratings, review counts, and opening-hour data come from the place provider and may change independently.
