Some trips on Platix are offered for sale by approved creators. A premium trip is a detailed day-by-day itinerary shaped by the creator's travel knowledge, with the route, timing, places, and practical decisions they would share with a friend.
Premium purchases are being introduced gradually, so purchase controls may not be available on every trip or account yet.
What you can see before paying
Every premium trip has a free preview so you can judge it before spending anything:
- The title, overview, and total length
- Day 1 in full — every stop, with times and places
- The list of places you stay, day by day
- Up to three highlights from the later days
The rest of the itinerary — the remaining days, specific venue picks, logistics notes, and booking guidance — unlocks after purchase.
What you get when you buy
- Permanent access to the trip as you bought it, in your Platix account
- One private copy ("fork") you can edit freely for your own travel
- Creator updates — anything the creator posts about the trip later, including after you have travelled
- Free access to major revisions, where the creator publishes one and we grant it
What does not change
The itinerary is locked once a trip has sold. What you paid for cannot be edited underneath you. That is deliberate: it protects the thing you bought.
Travel information still goes out of date. Restaurants close, prices rise, roads shut for the season. That is what the updates feed is for — creators post changes there, and you see them on the trip.
What this is not
A premium trip is planning research, not a booking. Platix does not sell flights, rooms, tours, or insurance, and does not hold reservations. You book everything yourself, and you are responsible for checking that opening hours, prices, visas, and conditions are still current before you travel.
