Before you start
You need a Platix account. If you are not signed in, the trip page offers to sign you in first — purchases are tied to an account so your access is permanent and recoverable.
Buying
- Open the premium trip and read the free preview, including Day 1.
- Check the price shown on the page. That is what you pay, in US dollars, plus any sales tax, VAT, or GST shown at checkout.
- Select Buy this trip.
- You are taken to Stripe's secure checkout to pay by card.
- You return to the trip page, which shows "Payment received — unlocking your trip…" while the payment confirms.
- The full itinerary appears, usually within seconds.
Platix never sees or stores your full card number. Payment details go directly to Stripe.
If unlocking takes a while
Payment confirmation is normally immediate but occasionally lags. The page keeps checking for about half a minute, then tells you it is taking longer than usual.
Do not start a second payment if the trip has not unlocked yet. Refresh the trip after a minute and check the confirmation email. If access still does not appear after a few minutes, contact support@platix.io so the payment and entitlement can be reconciled.
Free trips
Some creators publish a trip at no cost but still require an account. Those show Get this trip — free instead of a price. Selecting it adds the trip to your account immediately with no payment step.
Your receipt
Platix emails a purchase confirmation with a direct link to the unlocked trip. Stripe may also send a payment receipt, depending on the Checkout receipt settings. Check the address used during Checkout if the messages do not appear.
