Before you start
You need a Platix account. If you are not signed in, the trip page offers to sign you in first — purchases are tied to an account so your access is permanent and recoverable.
Buying
- Open the premium trip and read the free preview, including Day 1.
- Check the total shown on the page. That is what you pay, in US dollars, plus any sales tax, VAT, or GST shown at checkout.
- Under Review and agree, confirm that you agree to the buyer terms for this exact offer and that you understand the delivery terms.
- Read the note about the creator. The creator receives your name and email so they can contact you about the trip and their other travel content. To keep them private, check Don't share my name and email with the creator.
- Select Continue to secure checkout. You are taken to Stripe's secure checkout to pay by card.
- After paying, you return to Your purchases, which shows the checkout status while Platix confirms the payment.
- Your private copy of the trip appears in your purchases, usually within seconds.
Platix never sees or stores your full card number. Payment details go directly to Stripe.
If confirmation takes a while
Payment confirmation is normally immediate but occasionally lags. The purchases page keeps checking and shows the latest status.
Do not start a second payment while a checkout is still being confirmed. If your purchase still does not appear after a few minutes, contact support@platix.io so the payment and your access can be reconciled.
Your receipt
Platix emails a purchase confirmation with a direct link to the unlocked trip. Stripe may also send a payment receipt, depending on the Checkout receipt settings. Check the address used during Checkout if the messages do not appear.
